DISAPPOINTINGLY BLAND FILM VERSION OF THE CLASSIC HG WELLS BOOK. IT'S STILL GOOD, A BIT DATED, BUT BACK IN 1960 MUST HAVE BEEN MUCH MORE IMPRESSIVE. IT'S FINE UNTIL IT GETS TO THE SCENES WITH YVETTE MIMIEUX, THEN I LOSE INTEREST.
