Review of The Time Machine (1960) by Jj G — 18 Feb 2007
The scenes in the distant future turn H.G. Wells' extraordinary adventure into campy comic-book junk; it's still fun, but disappointing. However, the scenes in Victorian times are charming, fascinating, and surprisingly moving.
Rod Taylor couldn't be more perfectly cast.
