Review of The Time Machine (1960) by Garret S — 24 Feb 2008
It's a bit over the top, in terms of its many romantic gestures, but it's a good adaptation overall. Unfortunately, this film fails to discuss some of the truly cool things found in the original novel (like the Time Traveller's journey to the near-end of the world).
This actually allows for more of a focus on other details, though - so it's not a bad exchange.
