Review of The Time Machine (1960) by Gareth B — 24 Aug 2008
Rod Taylor is actually probably better in this film than he was in The Birds. Staying relatively close to the original novel, the gripping tale of one man's journey through time is delivered well. Because there is a lot more emotion here from the characters, this film is instantly preferable to the 2002 remake.
