Pleasant, upright, highly watchable and occasionally very clever, Hammer-esque incarnation of H.G. Wells famous novel is a good dose of classic English science-fiction. Not entirely faithful to the book and simplistic in its ideas, its engaging and still fun to sit through for classic film fans.
