Review of The Time Machine (1960) by Arsev A — 15 Aug 2009
Classic sci fi always manages to maintain a kind of timeless quality - this flick is no different. H.G Well's classic story is beautifully illustrated in this 60's installment - Rod Taylor's time traveller is sick of watching his fellow man find more and more diverse ways of killing each other, so he decides to travel far into the future in order to find a time when man has matured enough to give up war.
Needless to say he didn't find the Utopia that William Shatner was inhabiting! Heavily drenched in philosophy and hidden messages, this would please any sci fi fan.
