Review of The Time Machine (1960) by Sarah K — 30 Dec 2009

Classic! Even if this movie is a bit dated these days, and there are a few little inconsitancies (where do the Eloi get makeup for example?) and it dosn't keep with the book, it is still excellent.

I was raised on this movie, and even if it was old even at that time, it still scared the hell out of me. I think this movie is the reason I flip out if I heard tornado sirens...I immidently think of the Sphinx with the sirien drawing the Eloi inside.

This movie is quite influnenced on the world conflict going near the time it was made, but it ends on a uplifting note, which is nice...but overall I like the novels grim outlook better.
