Review of The Time Machine (1960) by Jesse R — 04 Mar 2012
This is my favorite movie from the 1960s and it's a great one. The movie does start out slow, but gradually picks up with ease. George (with his trusty time machine) travels to various events set into the future.
His final stop is in the year 802,701, where he witnesses that the world has changed and people are gentle creatures. As he tries to learn about the present, he becomes frustrated, as there are no records from the past.
This film has some great special effects for its time. A treasure indeed.
