Review of The Tillman Story (2010) by Tara A — 16 Sep 2011
I didn't know anything about Tillman going into this (other than that he'd been in the NFL, and, obviously, the horrible circumstances of his death), but what a tremendous portrait not only of someone who was already a wonderful person before he enlisted, and of a remarkable family.
As for the reason the story had to be told...god, what a waste. Tillman's mother's testimony to Congress says it all.
