Review of The Thrill of It All (1963) by Joshua L — 25 Mar 2012
I liked this movie! It has a charm and old time American family appeal, like a pair of warm pajamas and comfortable slippers. Doris Day is the all-American Mom and she plays the role beautifully. Full of fun and cute nuances, this movie will make you wish you lived nextdoor to her and her husband and their beautiful children.
A simpler time for sure. My only critique if any, is that it's about 15 minutes too long...but when it was over, I missed them! :) A great Doris Day/James Garner film.
