Review of The Three Stooges (2012) by Joel H — 16 Sep 2012

I didn't expect to like The Three Stooges, but I did. It's completely dumb, but I was surprised by how much I laughed and by how faithful it is to the original work. Hayes, Sasso and Diamantopoulos aren't just doing impersonations of the Stooges, they actually become the Stooges - it's impressive.

The story is thin, the humor usually flops, but I couldn't help smiling as I watched it. If you're not a fan of the original Stooges, though, you probably won't like it that much.
