Review of The Three Stooges (2012) by James D — 24 Jan 2013
Well, this is probably one of the worst and biggest flops I have ever witnessed. I had some decent hopes for this film considering the Farrelly brothers wrote and directed it, but they just couldn't re-imagine the fun, stupid comedy that made "The Three Stooges" so great way back when.
You do get a few laughs, but this movie is immensely stupid, and the acting is beyond horrible. Sean Hayes, Chris Diamantopoulos, and Will Sasso headline as the three idiots who embark on an adventure to save the orphanage they grew up in.
Meeting celebrities and troubles at every turn, the movie falls way short of comedy legacy. Definitely a good movie for children, but adults will either suffer through it or turn it off within 10 minutes.
Be my guest, if you dare. 2/5 JD.
