Review of The Three Musketeers (2011) by Dean H — 05 May 2012
Watched this last, mainly because I am a huge fan of Milla Jovovich and I do like the old Mustketeer stories. I quite liked this but others may not. It has OTT Action scenes using technology that was definitely not around at that time.
It also was a little cheesy but funny at the same time. The sets and costumes were colourful as were the part English, part German, part American cast. It was true to the story about D'Artagnan joining the Musketeers but told in a very entertaining way.
The sword fighting scenes were excellent. If you are looking for a simple action movie, you can't go past this.
