Review of The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005) by Dylan P — 22 Oct 2007
What a treat to see tommy lee jones have full conversations in spanish. the movie was pretty good. nothing too out there. the storyline is simple: a cattle man (jones) hires an illegal immigrant to take care of his herd.
the immigrant is accidently shot dead by a border patrolman. so tommy lee jones who made a promise to the illegal immigrant to buried him in his homeland, kidnaps the border patlorman and heads over to mexico to bury the guy.
the story has twists and turns but the ending is a bit (leaves you wanting more). it is worth the rental.
