Review of The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005) by Andy A — 01 Mar 2008
The production values didnt seem all that outstanding. It felt a bit unwieldy and the sound editting was a bit amateur. The beginning is where I found most of the problems and the story lines are a bit hard to keep a track of at first since there is no real way to differentiate.
Yet aside from the few extraneous elements of the production and plot, I found this to be worthwhile and thought-provoking. Not to mention compelling. TLJ brings a somber sort of dignity to the screen.
..the same as he does with No Country's Sherriff Bell.
