Review of The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005) by Mike C — 26 Jun 2009
Tommy Lee Jones second outing as director has an assured feel about it. Story and direction is good. Characters are all well defined and you are slowly pulled into the story. Mexican cowboy Melquiades Estrada is shot and dumped in the desert.
but when the body is found Pete Perkins, a local ranch foreman, kidnaps the Border Patrolman who shot him. So not your average story. But one which will keep your interest.
