Review of The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005) by Trent J — 25 Dec 2009
A good movie, I suppose. Once our leads are on the trail, the film gets a slightly better sense of direction. The January Jones flashbacks, though, could be stripped from the story in their entire without losing a thing.
Same with the love affair with the waitress and the Dwight Yoakam copper. They're all more dead weight than the corpse is. Underwhelming.
