Review of The Thomas Crown Affair (1999) by James C — 22 Aug 2008
A slick reworking of the 1968 classic with Brosnan on fine form (his Bond success shows all over his face!) and Rene Russo proving the perfect woman for Thomas Crown's attentions. The film is driven well by its sophisticated look - thank Die Hard director John McTiernan for that, and Bill Conti's great score.
An excellent, sophisticated thriller drama.
