Review of The Thomas Crown Affair (1968) by Adam S — 29 Jun 2008
If you can ignore the random zoom-ins and zoom-outs (an aesthetic product of its time) and the slightly-slow pacing (also a product of its time), this is a great movie. There's something about the mystery of not knowing what's going to happen that really puts this movie into a category all its own.
The mystery isn't in "who did it," but in a much more abstract question. Very enjoyable. Plus, who doesn't love to race a dune buggy around the beach?
