Considered one of the greatest films of all time, The Third Man is a stunning piece of British cinema. A film that excudes atmosphere and is a suspense filled thriller with many twists and turns. Carol Reed shows his prowess as Director and Orson Welles gives yet another amazing performance, as does Joseph Cotten.
The cinematography really portrays a dark and dreary portrait of Vienna and makes for a stunning setting that really grounds the film. What a masterpiece that stays as fresh today as it did on its release 62 years ago.
