This movie was way ahead of its time, with unexpected plot twists, great cinematography, suspense, and a soundtrack that doesn't seem to fit, yet evokes just the right sentiment. I applaud him for the choice he made (although he kept changing his mind), but expecting to be able to get the best of both worlds at the very end was .
..awkward, to say the least.
