Review of The Third Man (1949) by Skyler B — 28 Aug 2009
One of the best thrillers ever made. Although the plot is very twisting and turning, the ending result is definitely worth it. Like "Casablanca", this is an easy 4 star movie for me, the chase scene at the end alone deserves much recognition.
I'm not sure where it falls in my Top 100 yet, but it's definitely in there somewhere. This movie has given me a great reason to watch old films, so I can see actors like Joseph Cotten (whose looks remind me of Tom Hanks) and the great Orson Welles act.
