Review of The Thing from Another World (1951) by Achim B — 25 Oct 2007
A very fun horror film of ideas that provides some serious shocks, but mostly, interesting characters in trying situations. You can see the birth of the antagonistic Ian Malcolm character in the reporter Scotty.
They truly don't make them like this anymore- A film that is soaked in awful dread, but comprised of thought and interpersonal conflict rather than gore.
