Review of The Thing from Another World (1951) by Tracie T — 13 Jul 2009
Though it has now been eclipsed by the John Carpenter remake, for its day this was a truly terrifying film. There is still a sense of tension and fear running through, though it will seem relatively quaint by todayâ??s standards.
Watching the film now, it is clear how many subsequent films have used it as inspiration. A deserved Sci-Fi classic.
