Another oldie but a goodie! John Carpenter's gory remake is better known, but The Thing from Another World is still worthwhile viewing. Surprisingly for a movie this old, it delivers a few shocks and the dialogue is convincing.
Less impressive are the unimaginative monster design and the usual heavy-handed 1950s swipes at communism. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this film.
