Review of The Thing (2011) by M A — 15 Apr 2012

This is my first "The Thing" movie , I haven't watch the last one so here it goes , I didn't like the story of this it contain many holes in it , they didn't explain how they are getting infected many of those hadn't encounter the thing and though they were , how is this huge ship contain only one where is the others - in any aliens movie that contain space ships in earth antarctic for sure they were a whole colony , this thing could survive being held for thousand of year in ice and easily die by fire ! all this couldn't make any sense to me.

I like the graphic , the two headed thing was marvelously creepy it reminded me with "Animal Man" -comic- The cast wasn't that helpful to make the movie any better , Mary Elizabeth "Kate" wasn't that bad but neither good to carry the whole movie , the last scene they seemed too hopeful that they could make another one ore the legend will continue from a dog !!!!! I don't think so in the near future , I really wish the script had been better , they focus on the ship more and where it came from and a proper way to kill the thing better than a flame thrower a whole group of scientist and all they could figure out a flame thrower :/ .

I know I'm a bet judgmental on it,I'm not a fan so I gave it a 6/10.
