This is actually a really well done prequel to the brilliant John Carpenter movie. It does a good job of not over playing its hand too much while still answering some of the questions found in the first movie.
Plus they did a good job with the cast, I especially like that they hired actual actors from Norway, it just seem to make it that much more authentic.
