The best horror films have you wondering if you're having a waking nightmare and forcing you to repeat to yourself "It's only a movie." Grossly underappreciated at it's time, this masterpiece of fear and paranoia is now considered a landmark in sci-fi/scary movies.
Great performances all around, and incredible, mind-blowing special effects for one of the most horrifying and repulsive movie monsters ever made. Whether you live for the thrill of the scare or not, watch this and be both amazed and terrified.
