Review of The Thing (1982) by Kevin B — 10 Aug 2013
This is by far my favorite movie of all time. I know people today are used to incredible cgi effects, but The Thing shows that practical effects are just as, if not more, effective. However viewers should be warned that the effects are so realistic that they can get really disturbing, with scenes that include dog murder, tentacles and LOTS of blood.
The movie is also supported by great acting, writing, directing and suspense. I would say that this movie is good for an infinite amount of rewatches, because the movie never gets old.
