An unparalleled masterpiece. Carpenter's "The Thing" is more suspenseful than "Alien", more grotesque than "The Exorcist", and, despite being released over 30 years ago, flawless in its visual effects.
A nihilistic tale of unseen terror as bleak as the landscape in which it takes place.
