Review of The Thing (1982) by Chris B — 20 Feb 2014
A great horror film with amazing make-up effects and a dark tone and environment in which to progress. Filled with suspense and terrifying creatures that put everyone at risk, this is a horror film done right.
We also get the 80s hero Kurt Russell thrown in as the leader of the terrified group of men fighting to stay alive. If you're a horror fan, this is a great John Carpenter film and an all around solid horror flick.
You'll be on the edge of your seat with the unsurmounting terror closing in around both you and the characters you are pulling for.
