Review of The Thing (1982) by Eugene A — 31 May 2017
John Carpenter's The Thing (1982) is the perfect example of how to perfectly remake a movie. The greatest achievement this movie has to offer is the phenomenal special effects by Rob Bottin which still hold up to this day.
As far as the story goes, it does a good job at setting up a dark atmosphere and building suspense and paranoia. Ennio Morricone's soundtrack in this movie helps with the setting very well. The acting in this movie is also very good.
If you are in the mood to watch an amazing sci horror flick, please watch the 1982 remake of The Thing directed by John Carpenter.
