Even by modern standards, the film-making prowess on display is spectacular. The mad effects on show here are some of the craziest, coolest things ever attempted in a horror movie, and the acting is on point.
really helping convey the tension that builds throughout the film. The campy staples of its time, such as omnipotent computers, manly one-liners, and logic-stretching deductions add enormous entertainment value and alleviate some of the more suspenseful, darker moments and themes of the movie.
