Look, I don't care what you think. I know Terrence Malick spends a lot of the time filming nature. I know Nick Nolte has a few screws loose. I love this movie. It's A) beautifully captured on film, B) acted with eerie skill by Jim Cavizel, Elias Koteas, Ben Chaplin, and Sean Penn, C) the most philosophical treatise of men at war that I ever care to see.
