Review of The Thin Red Line (1998) by Daniel B — 26 Oct 2010
Probably the most poetic and philosophical films a major studio has ever released. No movie has ever captured the humanity of war as this has. While examining good vs. evil it still manages to pack a tremendous punch.
Just finished the blu-ray version, which looks impeccable especially if you are at all familiar with Mallick's previous works.
