Review of The Thin Red Line (1998) by Zachary T — 18 May 2011
It came out the same year as and was overshadowed by "Saving Private Ryan"......but to me this has ten times the depth. To say this is an unconventional war film would be putting it mildly. This, to me, is Malick at his best.
