This movie came out around the same time as saving private ryan and seemed to create a divide between war movie buffs. Everyone seemed to like one or the other. Although I think saving private ryan is a good movie, the thin red line is in a world of its own.
It is a visual masterpice with an amazing story (although it does feel long at times). I would recommend that everyone see it at least once. If you like it I would also recommend "a new world" by the same director but just dont get too confused by the last 20 min.
