Malick continues to show us the beauty of life in this 3 hour masterwork of pain, death and the beauty of life that can also occur at the same time. It may not be the most complex story, but it certainly is one of the most philosophical works to come from hollywood.
It combines drama with action at the same time throughout the film. Terrence Malick has a unique eye for film, and it is a style that most should love, especially those who are into film. It is a film that makes you feel as lost as the film is, which some people count that against it.
It is a 3 hour wet dream for fans of Malick's style.
