This thing was long! But Fairbanks really is mesmerizing to watch. Humor, drama, romance--this film has it all. The sets are gorgeous, too. Watching this, I was surprised at how advanced film as an art form was even in the 1920's. Modern film has perhaps lost touch with some of that as films become more and more like visual and emotional popcorn. Tasty, but mostly air.
This is a film the whole family can watch and enjoy.
