Review of The Theory of Flight (1999) by Null N — 01 Dec 2007
I've waited 9 years to watch this film, and I'm so glad I did. The film really heartfelt and moving, but also a witty comedy, although getting a bit dated almost a decade on. Helena Bonham Carter gives a beautiful and really believable performance, even if her voice was a combination of Frank Spencer and Borat.
Branagh also gives a fine performance. Highly recommended, but it was never released in the United Kindom (aside from a cinema release). Hopefully that'll change now.
