Possibly the best movie of 2014, Theory of Everything masters everything they set out to do. Cinematography, acting, score, directorial choices, all these and more charmed, dazzled, and emotionally overwhelmed to a point I was not expecting.
Eddie Redmayne took something so difficult to exhibit on film and did it in a way that was completely consuming and mind-boggling. An instant masterpiece from James Marsh.
