Review of The Theory of Everything (2014) by Facundo N — 15 May 2015

La increíble historia de Stephen y Jane Hawking, con la que es sin dudas una de las actuaciones más perfectas y descorazonadoras de la historia. Y no es exageración alguna el afirmar eso.

Dirigida por James Marsh y basada en el libro "Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen", escrito por la propia Jane Wilde Hawking, esta película cuenta una historia real que la verdad que era digna de una película. Los jóvenes estudiantes Stephen Hawking y Jane Wilde, interpretados por Eddie Redmayne y Felicity Jones respectivamente, comienzan una relación y a partir de ahí sus vidas cambian para siempre, para bien y para mal. Wow, estas dos personas sí que pasaron de todo, forman parte de una historia que te conmueve, te entristece y te inspira, todo al mismo tiempo. Ambos protagonistas transmiten tanto con hasta el más mínimo gesto, logrando verse creíbles y que así te metas de lleno en la historia. Los dos son dignos de aplauso, pero Eddie Redmayne... Wow, simplemente wow. Su actuación me puso los pelos de punta, es completamente perfecta.

Hace tiempo que no veía una película que me llegara tanto emocionalmente. Gran trabajo a todos los involucrados en "The Theory of Everything", a mi lista de las mejores que he visto este año.

Directed by James Marsh and based on the book "Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen", written by Jane Wilde Hawking herself, this film tells a true story that was really worthy of a movie. Young students Stephen Hawking and Jane Wilde, played by Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones respectively, begin a relationship and thereafter their lives changed forever, for better and for worse. Wow, these two people did go through a lot, they are part of a story that moves you, makes you sad and inspires you, all at the same time. Both protagonists transmitted so much with even the smallest gesture, achieving to be credible and thus make you get into the story. The two are to be applauded, but Eddie Redmayne... Wow, just wow. His performance gave me goosebumps, it is completely perfect.

It's been quite some time since I've watched a movie that got me so emotionally involved. Great job to everyone involved in "The Theory of Everything", to my list of the best I've seen this year.
