A potentially very dry documentary-like movie was brought to life by the incredible acting of both Felicity Jones and Eddie Redmayne. Redmayne is worthy of his Oscar after his heartbreaking and brutally honest deterioration as Stephan Hawking.
The score deserves credit as well for maintaining the film's intellectual and hopeful outlook.
