Loved this film about the life of theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking as seen through the eyes of his one-time wife and long-time friend, Jane Wilde. Eddie Redmayne is mesmerizing in the role of Stephen Hawking as his body slowly deteoriates from the ravages of motor neuron disease, but his mind is just as sharp as it ever was.
Redmayne truly deserved his Best Actor Award from the AMPAS.
