Review of The Theory of Everything (2014) by Andrew D — 15 Aug 2015

So I just watched "The Theory Of Everything" and it was very good. It was a depressing but very well made and intriguing film about the life of Steven Hawking. The acting in this film is great particularly from Eddie Redmayne. The script is very well written. The score in the film is also very good. It is also shot very well. The cinematography is very good as well. The costume design is great. The pacing is very good. One of my problems with the film is that I wish there would have been some more background on the characters. There are some poor scene cuts. Also I thought the film at points focused a little to much on Felicity Jones' character and didn't put enough focus on Redmayne. Overall though "The Theory Of Everything" is a very good film that I thought deserved it's best picture nomination.
