I've never seen a performance in a LONG time that has been so brilliant as Redmayne's. From physicality to voice, he nails it, and makes us believe that it is simply a video of Hawking's actual self, for every move he makes is brilliant.

Though his performance is truly the highlight of it all, the film wouldn't be complete without the talented work of counterpart actress Felicity Jones. Though not all love stories have happy endings, as this one, the romantic moments are some of the most precious, and the chemistry between Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones in the first half shows the real meaning of love, and proves that it's what's on the inside that counts.

Even though the film takes a surprising turn, and doesn't end as most people would like it to, the film is still written brilliantly and is a must see before awards season. I was so pleasantly surprised and was so fortunate that I could learn about Hawking's life, and his accomplishments in life.

Hawking is a role model for anyone, may you be a scientist, lover, or not, and this film certainly showcases his life BRILLIANTLY through amazing filmmaking and acting.
