One can only imagine that this was discovered in the thawing of a glacier, and realistically it shuld have been left there. A woefully inept thriller/horror film that must only have cast Val Kalimer in order to get people to watch it.
Kilmer himself would not rate it in his top 500 performances. A reasonable idea that just never kicks into gear and drags slowly to its ineviatble conclusion. If you want to watch this kind of stuff, stick with the brilliant The Thing.
This was just a waste of two hours.
