Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) by Lijilene C — 29 Nov 2009
There is not much to say about this movie. It's bloody, it's unnerving, it's disturbing, but it's not as disgusting or as bad as most people say it is. The killing sequences are well done for what you would expect.
The dismembering scenes are not as graphic as I expected. I was a bit disappointed that not Chrissy (Jordana Brewster) did not get away at the end, but then you wouldn't have The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
I would've liked the captives inflict a little more damage on the Hewitt family though.
