Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) by Haider S — 25 May 2009
Not bad prequel to the 2003 remake of the classic horror. In this one we see the history of the Hewitt family and how they began there vicious slaughtering of anyone who comes through there part of town.
It's more or less your typical gory horror with some cool kills and scares, it would have been nice if it got a bit deeper into the family history instead of just going straight for the throat/chainsaw.
But if you just fancy watching people getting tortured and killed with some jumps along the way then this could be a great night in. Fair play for the ending to, which wasn't as predictable as it looked like it would be.
