Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) by Magill F — 01 Aug 2009
Not a bad movie, but not nearly as good as the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" remake that it serves as a prequel to. The problem with prequels, especially ones like this, is that there's absolutely no suspense because you already know how it's going to end.
Still, there's a fair amount of gore, and Jordana Brewster has a cute smile, and R. Lee Ermey is tons of fun to watch. "Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning" is entertaining enough, and if you liked the remake, you'll probably enjoy this as well.
